Mega Acervus Cup 2011 has reached the final stages of the tournament, with four teams left to compete for severe hardware prizes, as well as a spot at GameGune 2012.
Taking place in the city of Botucatu, Mega Acervus Cup 2011 has gathered sixteen teams to duke it out in a double-elimination bracket, playing best-of-one map.
Day one has finished and only four teams are left in the competition. The teams remaining are mandic and GamerHouse, who will clash in the upper-bracket final, while playArt and OPENGAME will face off in the lower-bracket final.
Surprisingly enough is that GameCrashers have been eliminated, following a 16-12 loss against playArt on de_train.
The upper-bracket and lower-bracket final will kick off at 13:00 Sunday, with the rest of the tournament being played continuous throughout the day.

The winner of the tournament will walk away with five PCs, five mousepads and a spot at GameGune 2012. Prizes for the nine teams ranked below first place will all be receiving hardware prizes, while 11-16 place will receive a game server for one month.
