Pro wrestling veteran Marc Mero appeared on an episode of The ARN Show, where he discussed various topics, including working with Arn Anderson.
Mero said, “Just to say another thing about that was that when we worked together, obviously they had me built as the babyface or the good guy at that time, and Arn was kind of the heel. But man, when they would introduce either one of us, you know, they get the cheers for the Johnny B. Badd fans. But man, when he would come out, you’d see everybody doing the ‘four’ [hand sign], man. And that’s something that I’m so glad you have that. And that’s forever.”
On facing Eddie Guerrero in the ring and how it was a pretty cool moment:
“Fortunately that’s after Arn taught me how to wrestle, so I was able to go. You know, wrestling Eddie… he was just phenomenal in the ring. There’s not a move that Eddie probably couldn’t do, you know? So he was another one that just brought my game up to another level when I got to work with him. It was a 10-minute time-limit match. I was a champion at the time and we fought to a draw. And it was one of the few times you actually see wrestlers shake hands and hug after the match. So that was a pretty cool moment for me and Eddie.”
